Introduction: なぜ持続可能性にこだわるのか
私たちは、自然からの恩恵を未来に繋げることを使命としています。
エンジュボードは、小さな工房から生まれた製品ですが、その背景には「木を育て、使い、活かしきる」という大きな想いがあります。自然と共生するモノづくり、それが私たちの原点です。
Even as a small workshop, we believe in creating products that respect the earth. Sustainability is not a trend for us—it’s our responsibility to future generations.
素材へのこだわり - Our Materials
「森の声に耳を傾け、必要な分だけ使う」——そんな木材調達を目指しています。
地元で伐採されたエンジュを中心に、適切な伐採ルールを守りながら調達。さらに、切り出された木の端材も捨てずに再利用し、「木のいのち」を無駄にしません。合法性の認証（FIPCLなど）も取得しています。
We use enju wood sourced locally and responsibly. Every piece is harvested with care, certified under Japan’s legal wood program. Offcuts are repurposed—because no part of the tree should go to waste.
製造工程と品質管理 – Production and Process
一つひとつの製品は、丁寧な手仕事と環境への配慮の中で生まれます。
私たちの工房では自然光を活かした撮影や、省エネルギー型の製造設備を導入し、環境負荷の軽減に努めています。また、過剰生産を避けるために小ロット・必要最小限の製造体制を整えています。
We minimize energy use by leveraging natural lighting and streamlined production. Our small-batch manufacturing avoids overproduction and ensures every board meets our highest standards.
長く使える製品設計 – Designed to Last
「捨てられる木」ではなく、「受け継がれる木」に。
エンジュボードは、丁寧に使えば数十年にわたって美しさを保ちます。使い捨ての対極にある商品設計を追求しており、お手入れ方法やギフト対応も含め、次の世代に残したくなる一品として設計しています。
Our boards are made to age gracefully over decades. With proper care, they become heirlooms—not waste. It’s a product that grows with you.
