Regarding Maintenance
An EnjuBoard crafted from the solid wood of the pagoda tree (Sophora japonica). This document elucidates the correct maintenance procedures to ensure the enduring beauty of the wood grain. It provides a detailed introduction, from the usual washing methods to the precautions (dishwashers and oils are not recommended).

Maintenance Method for EnjuBoard
'EnjuBoard' utilizes solid wood that accentuates the natural texture, and conscientiously applies an environmentally considerate urethane coating three times. This special finishing process preserves the beautiful wood grain and ensures ample durability.
To maintain the beauty of your EnjuBoard for an extended period, please adhere to the following care instructions.
Cleaning - Daily Maintenance
- EnjuBoard does not favor dishwashers. Please refrain from using them.
- After use, please gently cleanse with a soft sponge using aesthetically pure water.
- Should you opt to utilize a detergent, it is advisable to select a type that is neutral and minimally irritating.
Drying and Storage Methods
- After cleansing, please avoid direct sunlight and allow to dry naturally in a well-ventilated shade.
- Please be advised that rapid drying may result in the risk of cracking or deformation.
- Once it has completely dried, please gently wipe the surface using a soft cloth (such as cotton or a microfiber cloth).
Regarding the Use of Natural Oils
EnjuBoard has meticulously applied an environmentally considerate urethane coating three times. This finishing process ensures the preservation of the wood's inherent beauty and its adequate durability, thus obviating the need for the application of natural oils. Furthermore, applying natural oil over the urethane coating may result in unevenness and stickiness on the surface. Therefore, we recommend refraining from the use of natural oils. For routine maintenance, gently wiping with a soft cloth will suffice to maintain its exquisite condition for an extended period.
Points of Caution in Handling
- Products made from solid wood are sensitive to humidity and temperature changes. Please avoid storing them in places with extremely high temperatures and humidity, or where there are sudden environmental changes.
- It is recommended that moisture and oil that have been in contact for an extended period be wiped off promptly, as they can cause stains and discoloration.
